Our Network

The Maryland & Delaware Railroad Company (MDDE) operates four rail lines on nearly 100 miles of track across Maryland and Delaware: 

  • The Chestertown Line, between Massey, Maryland and Worton, Maryland; 

  • The Centreville Line, between Townsend, Delaware and Centreville, Maryland; 

  • The Seaford Line, between Seaford, Delaware and Hurlock, Maryland; and 

  • The Snow Hill Line, between Frankford, Delaware and Snow Hill Line.

The Chestertown & Centreville Lines

The Centreville Line begins in Townsend, Delaware, and goes through Massey, Maryland, where it meets with the Chestertown Line, and goes south to Centreville, Maryland. If you are interested in transloading along the Centreville Line, please inquire with us.

The Chestertown Line runs from Massey, Maryland to Worton, Maryland. Transload services are available through one of our partners at Kennedyville, Maryland.

The Seaford Line

The Seaford Line runs from Seaford, Delaware to Hurlock, Maryland. Transload services are available at our Federalsburg Transload Terminal.

The portion of the line between Hurlock and Cambridge, Maryland is currently inactive.

The Snow Hill Line

The Snow Hill Line runs from Frankford, Delaware to Snow Hill, Maryland. Transload services are available at our Bishop Terminal in Bishopville, Maryland.
